I am a die-hard traveler of sorts. Sounds ordinary or cliche but I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, and engaging myself in conversations and lives that impact mine along the way. Growing up I felt like my family was on the move and that foundation is still with me today. From Alaska to New York, I’ve lived in many strange places and all of them challenged my resolve for adventure. Moment to moment I continue to live the path I am blessed with.
When I was introduced to My360Project I was gung-ho about just doing something new. I raised donations for the project and my trip, and it was astonishing how much support I had from friends, family, and folks I didn’t know were continually following my journey from thousands of miles away. My360Project has become a foundation in my conversations, and an eye-opener to folks who would like to learn more.
I look forward to participating in more trips in 2023! Hitting more donation goals and helping bring on more Shoe Heroes!
Megan is originally from Maryland (Go Ravens!), but her family moved to Charlotte, N.C., where she has lived for 10 years. She went to college in Greenville, S.C., and studied international business with a concentration in Chinese. After graduating, Megan moved to the "Triangle" (Raleigh area) and married her husband, Nate, a N.C. State Alum (Go Pack!). She loves exploring the triangle, visiting new coffee shops, restaurants, and all the new goings on!
Megan loves helping her friends, clients, and clients who become friends buy and sell their homes. She also loves serving others locally and around the world. Most recently she served with Raleigh Dream Center, Samaritans Feet, and My360project. Megan’s been on three trips with My360: Alaska and Mexico. She hopes to continue serving on short term trips as well as being a monthly shoe hero!
